Wingate by Wyndham

Objective

Established in 1996, Wingate by Wyndham is a brand of independently owned hotels that targets business travelers. Over 100 new Wingate by Wyndhams have opened since its inception. Some of its mid tier competitors include Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, and Hyatt Place. The goal was to introduce a fresh, new brand identity, while also establishing brand guidelines that would establish consistency throughout all of their marketing materials.

Design Solution

I directed a new photoshoot onsite one of its key hotel properties. Lighting and retouching with warm neutral tones made the property look and feel welcoming while also strategically focusing on the business-driven 24/7 free amenities. New pantone colors were boldly introduced; a metallic hue that would make all of their print materials shine and pop with contemporary style. New brand guidelines were created as part of the new brand refresh. Business savvy and funny door hangers were designed to put a smile on guests wanting privacy outside of their rooms.

Results

The client was very excited about their new photography which highlighted the main amenities of the hotel, from the meeting rooms, to business center, to fitness area. The client was eager to share the new support materials with franchise hotel owners nationwide.
